The Fingerprints of Creation

April 30, 2010

Do you think it’s a coincidence that no one fingerprint is the same? Is there meaning in this ‘coincidence’? It goes beyond our comprehension when we attempt to envision an infinite variation of fingerprints. You might be more comfortable with the scenario of recycled fingerprints. Suppose there was a global archive of all the fingerprints throughout humanity, even of those no longer alive. Would we find fingerprints being recycled, so to speak? In other words, could your finger prints match those of an ancient ancestor?

The fingerprint phenomena must remain abstract, but it is a truth and shared reality amongst us.

This small seemingly trivial observation of an infinite expression of creation, speaks volumes about the Creator, and brings us closer to accepting an unlimited Creative energy. Our ancestor have told us that this single Creative energy resides in all things: basing this on several observations around themselves and within themselves, leading to the understanding that all things are interconnected.

So where do we fit? That is to say, how does our life experience and perception connect and relate to the meaning or significance of fingerprints?

I do not have the answers to all these questions. However, one thing I can say with confidence is that our egotistical battles, desires, and fears belong in a shadow of ignorance. The fact that time and again we are able to step outside this shadow is proof enough of the shadow. Study the ignorance that cast the shadow and what was once opaque will eventually become transparent.
